Im sick!

I caught my kids cold this weekend. I feel like crap. Sore throat, swollen glands, aches, stuffed up nose… no fever. though I can’t quite get warm so not sure what is up with that.

I allowed my daughter to play with my computer today becuase I was feeling quite crapy and it entertained her. She some how came upon a website… one I had not been to.

She then somehow got caught on this picture.
and kept saying… “Pool. Pool. Ships, candles. Me go. bring kitty too”

She is TWO!

Now on the other hand I wish I was there right now sitting by the pool and having people bring me chicken noodle soup and hot toddies. Probably the one of the worst things about being a single mom. No one is there to take care of you when you are sick.

So I sit here and write this… wishing I had chicken noodle soup in my pantry and brandy in my cupboard. Oh well I am going to cuddle up in my bed and hug my pillow. Maybe I will dream about cabana boys taking my temperture…

Hugs sneezes and sniffles,
Lacy.

I remember being single, before the mom part, and thinking that. I think anytime you’re not married or with someone, it just sucks to get sick. It’s really hard though if the kids are around.

Great pic! And Paige is almost 3! Can you believe it? They’re getting so old!

Colds are all gone… but my daughter still asks me to pull up the photo…

I would love to take her there one day but did you see the prices???

Man. A dream vacation for sure.

Thanks for the well wishes Emma and Shelli.

    Love you both!
    Lacy.
