Tired and No Sign Of Sleep In Sight.

Man am I tired. My X is out of town this week and won’t be back until the 23rd. My daughter is going through a growth spurt and is crying out in the middle of the night in her sleep. I even gave her Tylenol and she is better with it but still crying out. Every time she cries out, I wake up, so I have had broken sleep for the past three days.

On top of that, I had a synopsis due to my Editor yesterday and I received copy edits this week that are due on Tuesday of next week for my book Animal Lust. All that with a day job, relationships, and a book I am supposed to be half way through writing by now.

My nanny had volunteered to help me out this weekend so I could get through all 400 pages of CE’s, but she arrived sick today and said she could not help me now because she needed to rest. Sigh. My family all lives on the east coast.

So what is a single mom with kids, a deadline, and no help to do? I have no clue… TV for the kids maybe? or possibly no sleep this weekend for Mom? Both?

Either way, I am thinking I should go home sick from work today and go to Starbucks and work on the CE’s. Sigh.

If you have any other suggestions they are fully welcome. Please help me!

Well, I can suggest comming over and sitting the kids but sadly I don’t think that would work out as desired… the other thing is to say FUCK IT and to take your kids to the Puyallup Fair tomorrow, relax for a bit and have a really good night of sleep, give her some tylenol and you take a sleeping pill and then SUNDAY get to work and get it done… I know you can do it… but if you still need a sitter then give me a call.

    Thanks for the offer Anonymous.

I got through one and a half of the stories last night. Hope to almost finish tonight so I only have a little to do tomorrow.

The fair sounds great…. I have never been, though have heard great things.

    Hope you are well,

Hope you’ve been able to get some sleep and some writing done.
